Best Practices Ministerial Area Breakout Sessions:

Objective: To reflect on the outcome of the V Encuentro consultation in a particular ministerial area—through the dual lens of missionary discipleship and the Catholic Latino community—and discern best practices and recommendations for that ministerial area.

For each of the ministerial areas, a panel of experts will assist in the exploration of the ministry through the Pastoral Circle:

SEE: Presenters and panelists will share the most signicant outcomes of the consultation process in each ministerial area;

JUDGE: Presenters, panelists, and participants will provide insights and perspective, and begin to identify best practices that emerged from the consultation process in each ministerial area;

ACT: Participants, in conversation with one another, will identify 1-3 recommendations to the bishops and Church leaders to consider for Hispanic/Latino ministries in each ministerial area.

After the panel presentations, delegates will form small groups (by table) and respond to the questions as indicated in the corresponding ministerial area handout. The fruits of these ministerial area conversations will be shared in the Celebration and Mission Plenary Session taking place Sunday, September 23, from 8:00 a m to 10:30 a m in the Grapevine Ballroom.
